In the middle of Småland's dark forests lies one of Europe's most dynamic communication partners. A company with only one account, but more than 250 creative co-workers. Our name is IKEA Communications, or ICOM as most people call us. We're the IKEA communication partner and create everything from the IKEA website to the annual IKEA catalogue, brochures, assembly instructions and motion media. You'll find us a stone's throw from the first IKEA store, in Älmhult Sweden.
IKEA's websites and digital media inspire hundreds of millions of IKEA customers all over the world. IKEA Communications is responsible for designing and developing the majority these sites and platforms. It's our task to make them interesting, up to date and easy to use. To keep up with demand, we need to strengthen our organization. Our web assignment is growing fast and with it our need for skilled and motivated coworkers. We are now looking for new colleagues who want to contribute to IKEA.com
We are looking for You who have the drive and passion to develop into a leadership position at ICOM. We expect that you have a lot of energy, enthusiasm and engagement in everything you do. You're a driven and responsible person who can build trust, have the courage to challenge the people you work with and try out new ways of working. We see that you have a great ability to plan the work and delegate responsibility. You can relate everything you do to the total picture.
We see that you have a great engagement and that you are driven by leading both business & people at the same time. You need the strength to contribute to your co-workers development and at the same time develop your own leadership.
A great passion for home furnishings is a plus.
Assignment
• The competence development of the co-workers that includes roles and responsibilities, ways of working and competence allocation
• To lead the daily operations and be responsible for the work environment
• To secure the coordination of the competences needed in a project at the right time
• To lead the future development of your competence group to meet future needs
Knowledge/Experience
• Communication preferably webb
• Leadership experience
• Communication skills
• Ability to establish contacts and create relations
• You're comfortable working in a changing environment
• You have the ability to, and you're interested in both details and
the holistic perspective
• You have experience in developing a department or a function and implementing new directions
• You love to lead people
