Engineering Services (ES) is a unit in Business Area Networks, serving all Ericsson R&D and sales organizations. We provide engineering IT and test environments supporting more than 23 000 R&D engineers. We also support Customer Units with deliveries of e.g. demos, proof of concepts and device verification. We work continuously to drive operational efficiency and technology leadership within our area. We operate ~75 000 square meters of labs in ~40 cities and manage centrally the R&D Global Tools licenses. Our global workforce consists today of 1600 employees and consultants + 700 subcontractors.
