We're looking for an experienced HSEQ Senior Specialist to take us to the next level within the fields of health, safety, environment and quality.
We are excited to offer a key position as an HSEQ Senior Specialist. You will in cooperation with management set the bar for all health, safety, environmental and quality objectives and activities. Including development and maintenance of systems, plus ensure the compliance to statutory regulations and company standards, rules and guidelines. In the role you'll support all departments and report directly to our Site Manager.
Your profile
University degree or equivalent
5 years or more of work experience within the field
Possess in-depth knowledge of QMS and audit procedures
Possess in-depth knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations
Enthusiastic about improvements
Positive hands-on and proactive approach to solving challenges, with a can-do attitude
Self-motivated, confident and good personal presence
Ability to see details as well as having a helicopter perspective
Internationally minded with ability to adapt in multicultural environments
Proficient in the core apps of MS Office
Excellent documentation and communication in Swedish and in English
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver in company HSEQ initiatives and manage corrective and preventive actions to ensure company standards and safe working practices.
Deliver oversight and assurance to managers of their risks, recommend and implement solutions to improve the level of compliance and regulatory risk control and ensure any breaches are addressed.
Identify knowledge or skill gaps with focus on safety, company policies and procedures, and implement supportive corrective actions to meet these needs to help ensure competency levels are attained and maintained.
Identify and understand the health, safety, environmental and associated legal requirements that are relevant to the business and ensure compliance. Help the organization understand them plus provide internal training and coaching when necessary.
Where necessary, lead accident and incident investigation, utilizing root cause analysis and provide advice to management on effective preventative measures to reduce risk.
Development and maintenance of the systems that support compliance and the systematic work of reporting, following up and resolving events.
Support with coordination and completion of internal and external audits. Provide coaching and mentoring to action owners and give authoritative advice on the close out of actions. Compile reports of internal audit findings, risk profiles and incident trends in order to facilitate improvement.
Develop strong relationships with external partners, as well as on all levels of employees and corporate colleagues.
