About the position
Perido is looking for a HR-assistant to our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The mission of this agency is to strengthen Europe's defenses against infectious diseases and identify, assess, and communicate current and emerging threats to human health posed by infectious diseases. The position is placed at their office which is nicely located just outside of Stockholm city but due to the pandemic the staff is now mostly working from home.
Your daily tasks
Support either personnel administration and recruitment or learning & development
Communicate with staff on HR issues in the area of competence, including drafting information notes, instructions and web content
Give service internally to staff, as well as externally towards candidates and others. Provide general support by receiving incoming calls, mail and documentation
Draft and provide data and input for reports and statistics in HR matters
Electronic and paper document management (mailing, typing, photocopying and scanning)
Update information in HR information systems
Manage confidential personal data and files
Support all HR processes and workflows
Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor

Your qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, you have a high level of responsibility and an ability to take initiative. You communicate efficiently in English at all levels internally and externally, in an appropriate manner and you always make sure to offer a high level of service orientation. Quality defines your work, and you are solution driven as well as an active listener. Furthermore, you can work under pressure and have great experience of organizing and prioritizing your work accordingly. We can also see that you are a true team player - with skills in team building and collaboration - even though you also work just as well independently with minimum supervision. Lastly, you know how to handle confidential information with discretion.

Requirements
Education at university level, or other relevant post-secondary education, preferably in the area of Human Resources
Experience of working in an HR department including in the area of personnel administration, preferably in a multicultural environment
Experience and knowledge linked to the relevant aforementioned tasks
Good and thorough with files and documents
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Contract type and hours
Full-time assignment, until 31st of December with the possibility of extension. Start as soon as possible.
