HR Service Center, is a unit within Human Resources at Volvo Car Group and delivering first class HR solutions to the employees and managers in our global corporation. The HR Service Center is the customers' first encounter with Volvo Car Group's HR Service delivery model, and we handle HR related issues coming from all parts of our organisation. The team play an important role in enabling our employees to devote themselves to their passions and to focus on what matters the most - our people and products. The HR Service Center is responsible for ensuring that Volvo Car Group's employees feel well informed and comfortable with using our HR services. We work in close collaboration with the other parts of the HR organisation and continuously present initiatives for how to improve and develop our gathered processes and service solutions. The HR Portal Specialist is a central point of contact regarding content, structure, guidelines and working methods of the HR Portal, for Sweden and globally. The governance of HR Portal content and structure is a responsibility of the HR Portal Specialist, as well as securing that content of the HR Portal meets customer requirements. The governance responsibility also covers the Volvo Car Academy site and Your Benefits Portal.
Main responsibilities
* Develop guidelines for design and structure of the HR Portal, and secure compliance with guidelines from Corporate Communications
* Secure that general design principles are followed, including making sure that content is written and presented in a uniform way
* Have a gatekeeping and advisory role in securing a clear-cut interface between HR information platforms: HR Portal, Volvo Car Academy Site, Your Benefits and BMS
* Develop routines and working methods for the HR Portal, secure that they are globally aligned to the necessary level, follow up and provide support when needed
* The global responsibility also includes leading and coordinating initiatives, improvements and actions towards further globalisation of the HR Portal, including driving the global HR Portal Network
* In dialogues with BAM, Process Owners and HR Service Center Advisors actively work with continuous service improvements related to the HR Portal ways of working, content and structure
* Provide input to functional/technical development of the HR Portal from an end-user perspective
* Keep updated with new trends and technologies
* As a Super User administratively support the operational day to day maintenance of the HR Portal, together with HR Service Center Advisors and local editors globally.
* Be the subject matter expert, contact person and provide support regarding HR Portal updates
* Secure that HR Portal editors have sufficient knowledge in the area of HR Portal updates
Required qualifications
* University Degree in relevant fields or equivalent expertise
* Extensive communication skills
* Project management experience
* Very good knowledge of working in SharePoint
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Experience from working with web pages and information portals including graphic/design skills is meritorious
* Experience high level understanding of HR processes and policies is meritorious
