hela Sverige The Administration Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a HR Officer/Senior Recruiter.
Description of directorate/division
ESS is in an expansive and exciting phase, building up the organisation and recruiting staff from all over the world. To meet the needs of our organisation the HR division is looking for a new colleague, a skilled and driven HR Officer focusing on recruitment.
ESS HR division consists of six employees, three of which are working full-time with "Recruitment and Relocation". Our work environment is characterised by fast growth, high rate of work, and an international atmosphere with highly academic personnel. You must therefore enjoy the diversity of such a set up and have a personality suited for the challenges it holds.
ESS currently has approximately 135 employees and will, during the next five years, grow to 450-500 employees. The main competences ESS will recruit are researchers (physicists), civil engineers and administrative staff. Many of our recruitments will be international and include relocation of families to Sweden.
Description of main responsibilities
You will work with operative recruitment tasks and have close contacts with recruiting managers and candidates through the recruitment process. You will hold pre-meetings to plan the recruitment process, publish job advertisements, read applications, arrange and conduct interviews, and contact candidates after the interview process, as well as other recruitment related administration. We currently use the e-recruitment system ReachMee and the media bureau Aktor.
Included in the daily work for all members in the HR-team is to continuously work with improvements to HR processes, templates and routines etc.
You will report to Head of HR division.
Qualifications
Essential:
• Experience within recruitment at a senior level
• An academic degree in HR or equivalent
• Excellent English skills, verbal and written, and confidence in using on a daily basis Desirable:
• Experience from international recruitment within natural science and/or technology/engineering
• Good knowledge and experience in competence-based interview methodology
• International background/experience combined with knowledge in Swedish working conditions and labour market
• Experience from a fast growing organisation

Duration & Location
The position is full-time and permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated at Medicon Village, Tunavägen 24, Lund, Sweden.
Start date
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

The European Spallation Source ESS AB will design, build and operate a multi-disciplinary, large-scale research infrastructure based on the world's most powerful neutron source. ESS will provide scientists with unique and powerful neutron scattering instruments for the study of a large range of materials - from polymers and pharmaceuticals to membranes and molecules. The ESS project is partnered by 17 European countries, and hosted by Sweden and Denmark. The ESS will be built in Lund, Sweden, by a collaboration of European scientists and engineers. ESS is planned to produce the first neutrons by 2019. When the facility is in full operation 2025, ESS has around 450 employees.
