The Floby plant faces a challenging future where we will meet the demands for improved profitability in parallel with a review of ownership of our business. In this journey we are looking for a business minded, experienced and competent HR Manager to contribute and support the future opportunities. As HR Manager at Volvo Car Engine in Floby you will be part of the Management Team. You will report to Plant Manager in Floby and HR Director in VCE.
As HR Manager in Floby you will provide the business with a comprehensive Human Resources Support and drive the development and implementation of effective HR strategies, processes and tools to support the long-term achievement of the overall Floby business plan. You will handle the most precious resource for the success of the company - our employees. Our mission is to attract, recruit, develop, engage and retain the people that build the future for Volvo Car Group.
Main responsibilities
• Advice and coach strategic and operational Human Resources issues
• Lead Volvo Car Group's People Strategy and champion the HR initiatives in the Business Units
• Translate business needs and improvement areas into HR requirements and actions
• Lead Business Transformation, primarily focus on HR strategic activities influencing the business agenda
• Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasises teamwork, quality, high performance, and continuous improvement
• Coordinate the HR value stream support to the business via for example workforce planning, talent acquisition, training and development, reward, career and succession
Required qualifications
• University degree within HR, Business Administration or equivalent
• 10 years broad and deep work experience in HR or related business
• Preferably background from the industry/manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a management role either as a project manager or a line manager
• Deep experience and knowledge of labour law and negotiations as well as executing HR processes
• Experience of budgeting and forecasting from both a financial and HR perspective
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal in Swedish and English
