We are now looking to hire an HR Generalist to manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function for the Scandinavian region, taking the responsibility for two of our Distribution Business Units. Ås in Norway and Arlandastad in Sweden. This is a first HR role for the business which will be based locally, either in Norway or in Sweden which presents an excellent opportunity to develop a new HR proposition for the local business.
Parallel to partnering with internal and external stakeholders and delivering an excellent HR-service to the business, the HR Generalist will be responsible for the deployment and effectiveness of a broad range of defined Human Resources processes. The role will represent an excellent career opportunity to increase your exposure to an HR partnership approach in an international context.
Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Managing the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs for two Cummins locations ? in Norway and Sweden. This includes performance management, recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development etc.
Business partnering: partner with managers and employees to offer an excellent HR service and to resolve issues and concerns.
Participating in performance management activities including employee development planning.
Continuous improvement: develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information, data and trends. Recommend and implement improvement initiatives.
Providing advice on compliance with key legislative requirements.
Creating employment contracts as required by local law or practice.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of workforce information in human resource information systems.
Qualifications:
Skills And Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have gained an intermediate level of working experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment.
Additionally, Generalist HR expertise gained in an international environment. Good understanding of employment laws that frequently impact the workplace. Passionate about providing excellent internal customer service. Ability to challenge current processes and develop / implement process improvements. Strong communication and relationship building skills. Fluency in English, fluent of Norwegian and/or Swedish College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
