About the Position

We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and drive the human resources strategy across Europe, aligning it with global goals and local market requirements. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, fostering an inclusive and high-performing organizational culture in a diverse, international environment. Your expertise will shape our recruitment, engagement, compliance, and talent development practices while supporting organizational growth and cultural alignment.

The HR Director will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Stenkullen HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.

The position is based at BraunAbility's facility in Stenkullen, just outside Gothenburg.

Your Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership:

Develop and implement the European HR strategy aligned with global objectives and local needs
Advise regional leadership on HR policies and initiatives supporting long-term business goals
Promote and uphold company values and culture

Talent Management & Recruitment:

Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support future growth
Drive retention, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives
Ensure recruitment processes are inclusive, efficient, and market-appropriate

Organizational Development:

Lead change management and organizational transformation efforts
Define and implement structures and tools that enhance organizational agility
Address training and development needs through targeted programs

Employee Engagement & Culture:

Cultivate a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and innovation across the European region
Enhance employee morale, engagement, and productivity through tailored programs
Support strategies promoting work-life balance in multinational settings

Compliance & Labour Law:

Ensure adherence to local and international labour laws and HR best practices
Stay informed of regulatory changes and implement compliance processes

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Develop KPIs to track HR efficiency and effectiveness
Report HR performance and initiatives to the Managing Director and other stakeholders

About You

You are a visionary HR leader who thrives in dynamic, multicultural settings. With a strategic mindset and strong business acumen, you are passionate about aligning people strategies with organizational goals. As an inclusive and adaptable communicator, you inspire trust and engagement across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles within international environments
Expertise in labour laws and HR practices across multiple countries
Proven success in organizational development and change management
Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
