Position Summary
• To advise, coach and support management teams/managers in HR related issues that drive business performance
• To translate business plans and strategies into aligned HR plans and actions
• To be the representative for Volvo Buses in the Swedish HR country committee. To manage union negotiations for Volvo Buses Gothenburg.
• To ensure that HR processes operate at a high level of quality and effectiveness
• To ensure that HR processes continuously improve and develop

Main Responsibilities
Being responsible for human resources in the following areas of Volvo Buses, QCS (Quality and customer satisfaction) , you will support and develop the business through people and management within Volvo Buses. You will participate in and contribute in the HR management team both on the tactical and strategic agenda. You will also:

• Be responsible for the country coordination of white collars in VBC Sweden, you will be a member of the HR country committee. In addition the position holder is responsible for union relations (WC) and negotiations for Gothenburg, be the chairperson for the negotiation committee. Local coordination and lead for H&S and Compensation & benefits.
• As a member of the management team of QCS , take a lead in identifying HR-related issues that influence implementation of business strategy and actively support business initiatives
• Provide support and guidance to managers on HR processes, policies and practices
• Coach and challenge managers in decision making on HR matters and roll-out/management of HR processes (e.g. recruitment, performance management, leader sourcing and succession planning, VGAS, termination, labour legislation, health and safety, etc)
• Collaborate with other players in the service delivery model (SDM) to ensure joint delivery of HR services.

Qualifications
• University degree in appropriate academic qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience or related experience
• experienced negotiator and good knowledge of Swedish labour law.
• Good analytical and business skills to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• A proactive and responsive customer oriented person with a drive for results and development, and an ability to work with senior and line managers
• Good knowledge and understanding of both operational and strategic HR
• Well organised and structured in order to give room for innovation and creativity
• Team player
• Energy and drive to reach business results
• Coaching skills and ability to build relationships and networks
• Strong communicator with good English command, verbal and written
• High level of integrity and credibility
• Conflict resolution skills
• Understanding of interpersonal relationships and organizational behaviour
• Basic skills of HR IT systems is a merit
