hela Sverige Contribute to improving Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance in both the lead HUB organization in Sweden as well as in the HVDC project deliveries of the global HVDC organization to ensure an exemplary health and safety culture as well as a strong focus on the environment. Support other HUBs in the global HVDC organization by applying in-depth HSE knowledge to offer solutions and advice.
Ensure accountability and high-level safety performance: coach and support people at all levels of the organization to realize a health & safety culture.
• Carry out safety audits, identify trends, review and analyze HSE deviations, investigate accidents and root causes, introduce and supervise corrective actions.
• Responsibility for continuously updating the safety audit program
• Analyze, share and highlight issues, best practices and new compliance obligations from the HUB management team with the HSE management team and the other way around
• Follow up, analyze, present, ensure actions on HSE targets
• Coordinate good introduction to HSE for new management participants/new managers within the management team
• Support responsible managers when incidents and sickness occur
You will have a team of project HSE managers and site HSE specialists to support you. Some are located in Sweden and others are located abroad.
We are looking for an experienced and driven HSE manager with solid communication skills to address different organizational levels. You hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Science, an HSE education and have long experience of project management as well as HSE risk management. Knowledge in safety by design and safe operations in large customer projects is meritorious. Also, you have conducted Project Management Trainings and you are familiar with the ISO standards. It is also a plus if you have previously worked in a global organization and hold a NEBOSH certificate. We are looking for someone who combines business mind and the ability to motivate, investigate and coach. You can grasp both the full picture and understand the complexity in processes of change. At the same time you are a doer who has the ability to make decisions, take initiative and launch new activities.
• Experience in working with trucks, lifting operations and inspection of scaffolds is meritorious
• Experience in Electrical Safety is a definite asset.
• Experience in similar position would be highly appreciated.
• Willing to travel
Fluency in English and Swedish is required as well, both written and spoken.
You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division. As HSE Manager you will be a member of the management team in the lead HUB of Product Group HVDC within Business Unit Grid Integration, a worldwide leader in the execution of large and complex projects for power transmission grids and the related engineering, procurement and construction.
