About the position
Through the National Association of Sweden's City Missions, Linköpings Stadsmission runs the project "Pentru Tine - For you", which is co-financed by the European Union and FEAD- Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived. The project is also being run in Uppsala, Eskilstuna, and Stockholm Stadsmission.
The project aims to provide improved health and greater inclusion for vulnerable EU citizens living in Sweden. This is achieved through both knowledge-enhancing efforts and health information, as well as by increasing the target group's knowledge of rights and obligations in Sweden, their home countries and the EU. The efforts are carried out in existing operations and through outreach in fieldwork.
As a health communicator, you will provide advice and guidance on health topics on-site or at Crossroad's existing activities to increase health and prevent disease within the target group.
About you
You have an interest in migration issues and Human Rights and wants to work directly with people in vulnerable life situations. You believe that all people have equal value, regardless of who you are or where you come from. You are a compassionate person with great social skills and can set boundaries in a professional way.
You like to work in a team but also have the ability to work independently. Further, you like flexibility in the workplace and can adapt to the needs of the project and the target group.
We are looking for you who:
- Are a trained nurse or have qualifications that the employer considers equivalent.
- Have good knowledge of migration issues and the target group's right to healthcare
- Have experience giving information about mental and physical health and giving advice on preventive measures
- Speaks Bulgarian as well as Swedish and/or English fluently
- Have a driver's license
It is a merit if you have documented knowledge and/or experience of work as a health communicator or fieldworker.

This position is temporary employment beginning as soon as possible until 31 January 2021. The working hours are weekdays and evenings.
