Volvo Cars Treasury is the internal bank for Volvo Cars. The responsibilities of Volvo Cars Treasury include coordination of the global funding strategy and financial infrastructure. It is also responsible for the management of all interest-bearing assets and liabilities and the execution of foreign exchange transactions.
Volvo Cars Treasury is looking to fill the position Head of Treasury Support. You will be leading the team with responsibility for the daily cash management and Treasury administration for the Volvo Car group of companies. The team is responsible for the daily cash management whilst maintaining strong controls.
Head of Treasury Support reports to Assistant Treasurer / Head of Operations.
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities for the Treasury Service supervisor are:
Daily cash management and administration of cash pools
Trade settlements & confirmations
Intercompany loan administration
Inhouse netting
Administrate and maintain Bank Accounts for Volvo Companies
Identify and Implement Process Improvements related to Treasury Support activities
People Development and Training Support
Qualifications:
Business Degree, ideally a major in Accounting or Finance
5 - 10 years of relevant experience from working in a Corporate Treasury / Bank organisation
Experience of leading a team is a merit
Key Competencies:
Treasury system knowledge, ideally WallStreetSystems
Good Communication / people management skills
Good analytical skills and ability to take own initiatives and develop the role
Commitment to delivery, work under very tight deadlines, aligned with good prioritization skills to get all tasks completed in the time required
Fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English
