Are you an experienced, driven, and forward-thinking Head of Strategy with a flair for M&A looking for your next challenge? Do you have a strong background and passion for leading organic and inorganic growth through strategy definition, execution and project management? Then you might be the person we are looking for! We are now searching for a Head of Strategy and M&A to join us on our exciting growth journey and play a central role in shaping our future agenda as part of a dedicated Group Management Team with the ambition to continuously support, challenge and develop each other and the organization. This position reports to the CEO and is located at our office in Gothenburg or Malmo.
The role as Head of Strategy and M&A
As Head of Strategy and M&A your mission will be to lead and coordinate development, implementation, and follow-up of the Nord-Lock Group strategy, with the below as main levers and areas of responsibility:
Strategy
• Facilitate the establishment and actively support the realization of the Nord-Lock Group "Full Potential Plan".
• Manage quarterly strategic objectives tracking / Group Scorecard and deep dives to our Board of Directors.
• Act as main contact and sounding board on strategic topics in Business Units, supporting local entities on strategy development and targets.
M&A
• Lead the Group M&A activities and secure relevance between M&A activities and group strategy.
• Drive the acquisition target screening and identification process.
• Project manage the acquisition and integration processes.
Group Management Coordination
• Coordinate Group Management meeting agenda, structure and follow-up.
• Pave way for larger decisions by data collection, analysis and summarizing of options.
• Develop by best-practice and support digitalization.
• Prepare for Nord-Lock Group Board meetings including presentation material.
Your profile
You most likely have a management consulting background coupled with senior level experience from working with strategy development and execution, M&A and corporate governance in an industry relevant international company. You are used to managing without direct authority and have a great ability to drive projects and deliver results through others. Further, you have a deep knowledge of organizational design and development, financial analysis and leadership and change, and how to use these as tools in reaching results.
As a person you are outgoing, collaborative, and great at communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. You are dedicated and positive with a pragmatic "can-do" attitude. Your way of working is structured and meticulous and you enjoy combining your analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and curious mindset.
Requirements
• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Management consulting background and/or senior level experience from an industry relevant international company
• Fluent in both spoken and written English language.
