We are looking for a manager for Project Management Office AMB & Arthur. At Project Management office the focus is on execution of contracts in all sizes throughout the life cycle of the products, from development contracts to service contracts.
Business Area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and command and control solutions.
Business Unit Surface Sensors Solutions is a Business Unit within Surveillance and has more than 2000 employees globally; with center of gravity in Sweden, Finland, Germany and UK.
Surface Sensors Solutions provides ground-based and naval radar and electronic surveillance solutions. The business unit has a strong presence in the global defense and security markets, a close relationship with customers and rewarding international collaborations.
Your role
As manager, you will manage the team of project managers with the responsibility to execute won contracts and base projects, this includes securing good profitability, cash flow, delivery precision, quality and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for developing our ways of working within the Project office AMB & Arthur including contracts, base development and serial production. The unit will consist of 10-15 employees with the potential to grow. You will be a part of the PU AMB & Arthur Management team.
Your profile
* You have leadership experience with focus on business and customer understanding
* You have a good financial understanding and experience from project management and/or product management
* You are driven as a person with good social skills and a willingness to build relationships internally Saab as well as externally
* You have the skills to create a collaborative culture with transparency, frequent feedback, respect and trust
* You are a team player willing to walk the extra mile for your team and its objectives
* You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
