Purpose of the role:

The Head of Execution for LNG Plants and Special Equipment is responsible for the overall management and direction of the project management department for the unit. The role will ensure the quality delivery of completed projects to clients that are completed on time and within budget. The Head of Execution will also participate in business development activities and issue resolution.

The position is based in Arendel, Gothenburg and you will report to the Head of Global Projects.

The team consists of 15 persons working permanently and you will manage a team of approx. 40-80 consultants depending on the size of the project. Normally projects will run between 1-2 years of time and the projects budgets very between 100-500 milj SEK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and coaching the execution team on a daily basis
• Acting as project manager or director for the key projects
• Developing own staff to create core execution team enabling CRYO AB to staff key functions and app. 50% of a LNG terminally project internally
• Implementing Linde Engineering execution workflow, tools and procedures to adequate extent/depth
• Liasing with relevant functions and disciplines at LE-Pullach (e.g. execution, procurement, construction)
• Plans, organizes and controls all resources (people, both internal, external and materials) for a successful execution of the projects
• Lead the project team in the construction of projects ensuring quality, schedule, cost control, safety and customer satisfaction objectives are met

Qualifications:

• Master degree in Engineering, Construction or similar
• Degree in Project Management
• Minimum 10-15 years or experience of complex construction projects in the process industry, preferable from gas industry
• Strong qualifications in leadership with the ability to lead and motivate people and get results through others
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials, costing, scheduling and estimating
• Strong organizational and communications skills
• Problem resolution both strategic and on a functional level
• Strong customer service skills
• You are driven with a positive mindset
• Fluent in English written and spoken
