Department Maintenance Production are now looking for a Head of Planning. The section consists of approx. 18 employees reporting direct to the Head of planning.
The team are located in both Malmslätt (Linköping) and Arboga.
Your role
You will lead and manage a team consisting of Order/Workshop Planning, Order registration and Logistic development.
The role also include to be part of a numbers of projects in terms of Planning, Operations and Business development.
You will report direct to the Director of the Department and will be a very important part of the management team.
* You will Lead and manage a team of approx. 16-20 members
* Develop the team and the team members
* Follow up and plan for the deliveries within the MP department
* Responsibility regarding budget, Health and safety for the team and Employer responsibility
Your profile
Required skills:
* Bachelor degree in Logistic or equal experience through work life
* Minimum five years of planning/logistic experience
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
* Social team player who always think what's best for SAAB AB
* Confident in decision making
* Analytic
Desired skills:
* Experience from Industry is desired
* LEAN education and/or experience
* Change management
The position requires travelling on a weekly basis mainly in Sweden but some international travelling will occur.
Driver's license B is required.

It is important to be able to work in cooperation with stakeholders such as other Departments and Business Units within Saab.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defense and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Business unit Gripen Support manages Gripen business within Support and Services and provides a focal point for customers and partners. We provide support for the Gripen system including a range of products and services e.g. technical support, maintenance, ground support equipment, component repair, services for advanced electronic systems, as well as advanced logistics supply services. We also offer maintenance concepts as well as production and implementation of various parts of other maintenance solutions to customers in all domains.
