About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, business-driven leader for the role as Head of Logistics Preparation, Quality & Environment.
This key position will serve as the primary interface between Service Market Logistics (SML) and GTT, GTP, and GTO, ensuring that SML requirements are seamlessly integrated into product development and sourcing from the very beginning securing uptime for our valuable customers.

The role offers flexible locations in Gothenburg, Greensboro, Lyon, Gent, and Curitiba.

Key Responsibilities

* Secure an efficient SML interface towards GTT, GTP & GTO.
* Drive sourcing frontloading to ensure early integration of SML requirements.
* Drive and develop SML Packaging and Logistics Preparation processes, setting vision, roadmap and demands on digital landscape, using the Lead DC approach.
* Ensure global compliance with dangerous goods regulations.
* Serve as the go-to expert on environmental topics, including CO2 reduction, landfill-free practices, and packaging waste.
* Together with the environmental network secure SML roadmap and compliance with the long term targets in the field.
Drive and develop the SML Quality process, coordinating quality campaigns.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a person with extensive experience in product development, sourcing, process development, and operational excellence.
You will bring strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
Experience from working within GTP, GTT or GTO Q&E and extensive knowledge from the sourcing and product development process is seen an advantage.

Your expertise in Quality and environmental management will be crucial, along with a deep understanding of Lean principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies-experience with the Volvo Performance System is a significant plus. Additionally, your background in digitalization and data-driven decision-making within logistics, supply chain operations, and services will be valuable, and experience in automating digital flows is seen as an advantage.

In this role, you will be leading a team of experienced experts across different areas of the value chain, including logistics preparation, packaging, quality, environment, and dangerous goods.

Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding and supporting this team to drive excellence in all these critical areas. You have a proven track record of fostering collaboration and building high-performing teams where people feel valued and empowered. Your leadership style is centered on trust, empathy, and accountability, driving a culture of care that enables individuals to thrive both professionally and personally
You will also have proven experience in Change Management, successfully guiding organizations through transformation.
Your ability to engage with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive results in a complex and ever-evolving environment will be essential. A master's degree or equivalent in a related field is required, along with proficiency in English.
