About the job
Leading our brand-new HR Operational Excellence function, your main mission is to develop and drive our People Strategy and improve HR business performance, while coordinating HR matters within our transformation program. This is done in collaboration with our HR Management team, as well as with other internal and external stakeholders, and you ensure that everything aligns with our company strategy. You drive efficiency and data quality in our HR processes by taking responsibility of our yearly People Strategy process and annual planning and follow-up of our HR function's performance metrics. You develop the monitoring and follow-up of our HR delivery model and you plan, implement and follow up on agreed HR projects.
How we use people analytics to take informed decisions in our workforce planning is also included in your mission. This means to keep up with market trends and best practices in the area of people analytics as well as share your knowledge and insights with stakeholders at all levels. Last but not least, together with IT and other stakeholders, you own and develop our HR technology roadmap and drive execution in close collaboration with stakeholders at Sandvik Machining Solutions and Group.
You report to, and act in close collaboration with, our Vice President & Head of Human Resources, and you're a valued member of our HR Management team. The location for this role is flexible, preferably within a time zone according to Sweden. Since we're a global business, some travel is included in the role
About you
We're looking for a leader with several years' experience within project management and HR, and broad knowledge of data management and IT systems. You've been working both strategically and operationally, ideally in a global environment, and have a special interest in strategy execution, people analytics, reporting and workforce planning. You're used to navigating through change, with cross-functional collaborations and close contact with managers and HR leaders, and you're comfortable in presenting to stakeholders on all levels including Executive Management. We expect an interest in new digital solutions and knowledge in HR software such as Workday, while experience in Power BI is a plus. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
