www.essentracomponents.com Now we are searching for our new financial superstar, a person ready to shoulder this important and integral role in the country management team as well as providing commercial support to our business. The role as HoF leads a team of 3 co-workers and the business comprises a £12m turnover across 3 sites. To work effectively on this position you need both skills and authority to influence stakeholders on all levels in the company. As a senior member of local management as well as the European finance teams, you will be driving the finance agenda and set the tone for the team culture.

Main duties for the role
Reporting & Controls, Forecasting & Planning, Business Partnering and Team Management:
• Ownership of accounting for SE and FI
• Responsibility for financial controls as well as monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, account's payable and payroll
• Main go-to person for audits, internal and external
• Continual analysis and reporting to identify opportunites and propose actions for improvement
• Forecasting and planning to ensure output of financial reports with cost owners
• Business partnering - building relationships that promote commercial aspects
• Supporting and guiding internal and external audits and investment appraisals
• Team management, incl managing the Swedish team, driving the profile of the cross-site finance team and creating a good sense of partnership with all commercial functions.
Qualifications for this position
You have a relevant university degree, preferably within Finance and Accounting and you are fluent in Swedish and English, oral and written. We expect you to have at least 5 years experience with 2 years in a leading position as well as a proven track record of leading a finance team, preferably in an international manufacturing and/or distribution business setting.
Further, you have excellent technical accounting skills as well as a good knowledge in business controlling and experience of working in a dynamic environment.
You must have the necessary skills and experience to be the financial counterpart to your non-financial stakeholders. This part is essential, as one of the main tasks is to identify opportunities to grow and communicate them. You need to be a strong communicator, as this position includes working closely with highly commercially focused management teams, delivering change programmes and improving business performance.
Skills and behaviours expected in the role
Your talent is sharing financial insight, on all levels, cross-site. The abilty to understand, process and present data from numerous systems is vital. Furthermore you need to have sufficient experience to be proactive in identifying areas of improvement.We expect you to be self driven, highly organised and with strong coordination skills.
