Do you want to shape how one of the world's leading brands shows up in every channel, every day? We are looking for a Head of Content Production to lead our newly formed, in-house content team. In this role you will support, inspire and lead the team with the ambition to create world-class content for all channels - from brand campaigns and product launches to always-on digital, social and PR content. You will play a pivotal role in how we bring the Volvo brand and the Volvo Trucks offer to life, ensuring that every piece of content is:
Strategically grounded in our brand and business priorities
* Creatively outstanding and relevant for our audiences
* Optimized for channel, format and market needs
* Efficiently produced, measured and continuously improved

This role sits within the Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) function at Volvo Trucks. You will be part of the BMC management team, and work closely with your colleagues responsible for Marketing, PR & Communication, Events, and more. Your title will be Vice President Content Production and you will report to the Senior Vice President Brand, Marketing & Communication.
Key responsibilities
Leading with a vision, supporting the team to produce groundbreaking, engaging and on-brand content that resonates with target audiences and moves the needle - ensuring that Volvo Trucks stands out from the competition.
* Establishing and managing an agile content production methodology and process, including structure for content requests, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, etc.
* Ensuring efficient and consistent asset management.
* Personal development of the team members
* Ensuring the team has the right competence and capacity through upskilling and recruitment
* Driving efficiency using automation where applicable whilst still adhering to brand guidelines and compliance
* Continuous improvement

Requested qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
* More than 5 years of experience in leading content production, preferably including work experience from an agency, supporting global clients.
* Proven experience leading high-performing teams in global or complex organizations as well as capacity planning.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to align content production with business objectives and global marketing plans.
* Strong prioritization skills based on ROI and strategic goals.
* Result-oriented, structured, and solution-focused.
* Deep competence in agile methodology and ways of working
* Capability to establish processes for content requests and asset management.
* Continuous improvement mindset for team performance and efficiency.
* Familiarity with CMS, DAM systems, and project management tools.
* Knowledge of automation tools for content production while maintaining brand compliance.
* Understanding of SEO, social media, and omnichannel strategies.
* Experience managing editorial calendars and global campaigns.
* Experience from generative AI and using AI to automate the content production process
* Empathetic leader balancing quality, efficiency, and team well-being.
* Comfortable managing complexity and organizational change.
