hela Sverige Are you ready to take on a new role as Head of Business Control? We are currently looking for a strong leader who thrive on change and is interested in optimising processes and structures to improve ways of working. The position is placed in Malmö, Hyllie. You will report to the CFO and be a part of the Finance leadership team.
You will be responsible for creating a dynamic work environment where people continuously develop and contribute to our goals. You will interact with stakeholders across functions and markets to ensure efficiency of our processes, and lead with the company values in mind.
Main Responsibilities
General
• Monthly cut-off and year-end reporting
• Budget and Forecasts - planning, instructions, uploading and coordination with local markets and central functions, service advisory fees for Central Admin cost centers and to Markets
• Ad hoc reporting to Group/ CFO/ Cost center owners
• Promoting the essence of the company as the foundation of company culture
• Interaction with stakeholders, cross functional and markets
• Being a good representative of the company and of the values that company represents
• Support a team of controllers
Core operation and control
• Complete management report on a timely basis
• Provide Accounting with all journals on a monthly basis
• Ensure that cost allocations are in line with agreed SLA's and transfer pricing documentation
• Drive and follow up on business cases
• Ensure that accruals are made according to sound controlling standards to secure reliant and accurate financial reports and business decisions.
• Propose changes and improvements to policy, guidelines and instructions within the business control area.
Skills and Capabilities Required
You have an academic degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of senior experience in leading a team of highly competent and experienced controllers and specialists. You have 3-5 years of experience within the financial services, preferably within a relevant function, including experience with legal and regulatory issues like IFRS9 and capital requirements. You are experienced in measuring and managing work. International experience is necessary.
To succeed in this role, you need to be a strong leader with excellent skills in motivating and encouraging others. You are used to navigating in dynamic environments with various stakeholders. You have a strong sense of how to optimise processes and structures and you are not afraid to make necessary changes. Moreover, you have a strong mindset on model building and strong strategical and analytical skills as well as stakeholder management skills. You are action oriented and customer centric, with a business-oriented approach. You have a great decision-making skills and communication-skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English (written and oral), and Swedish is required.
