Position Description
Project Builds PE (Powertrain Engineering) is a part of Product Builds Heavy Duty Europe within Complete Vehicle in Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT). The team has two major areas of responsibility: cross functional lead of the physical prototype builds supporting powertrain projects and operation of the logistic setup within GOT-site. Project Build PE contains of both white and blue collar coworkers and the team consists in total of 16 persons.
The team works in close cooperation with powertrain product development, powertrain manufacturing, GTT workshops and our prototype purchasing and procurement team. We are continuously striving to develop the Product build organization in order to be leaner and more efficient in supporting vehicle and powertrain projects.
Core responsibilities
• Lead the daily operations in the team in order to support product projects and the operation in our warehouses
• Maintain a good team spirit with a cooperative atmosphere and proudness to deliver
• Secure a good competence level within the team through development of individuals and recruitments
• Maintain and develop good cooperation with essential internal stakeholders like product development
• Ensure efficiency in the logistic setup
• Active participation in the Product Builds Heavy Duty Europe Management team
• Deliver according to agreed KPI 's and targets
• Drive improvements in way of working and processes within your area through participation in e.g. the Global Physical Project Build Process team
• Lead the team 's work with continuous improvement and continue the VPS implementation
• Work in accordance with Volvo processes, the Code of Conduct and Volvo values

Essential skills and needed work experience
• University degree in Engineering is an advantage
• Previous experience from having management position
• Previous experience from product development and project management
• Experience from logistics field and automotive industry are seen as advantages
• Fluent in English and Swedish both written and spoken
