We are now looking for a leader to join our Electrical & Electronics Architecture Team at Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT). This is the core of our R&D and we are a global function within Vehicle Technology - deliver the latest technology development for all our products within the Volvo Group.
Who are we?
EE Platform Functional Safety is a team based in Gothenburg that is part of the Electronic and Electrical Architecture (EEA) organization which governs and manages the EE Platform for trucks, its infrastructure, the related toolchain and a set of systems and functions. EE Platform is responsible to define, develop and maintain the full-embedded system lifecycle as a platform from EE roadmap, change management to lean and agile EE portfolio and solution architecture & solution management.
Who are you?
To succeed as Group Manager within EEA we believe that you have the following background:
• MSc. In Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Several years of leadership experience (line and/or project/product management)
• Knowledge about Embedded SW development in vehicles
• Knowledge about agile development
• Previous experience from development of electrical systems preferably from automotive industry

To develop in this the role as Group Manager we want to see that you are driven and push yourself as well as your team to achieve results. You are used to different ways of communicating and see the benefits in each one. You are open and encourages new ideas and lead by own example. As the group manager for the team, you will work as a GTT shared service for functional safety support with strong focus on supporting the implementation of the needed tools and processes in the development teams. You will lead the team and GTT in the continuous improvement around process development connected to functional safety. The team is guided by a tailored agile approach to support the progress as well as being the centralized experts within the field. We value teamwork and knowledge sharing as a great part of our team's strategy.
