To strengthen our ability to fully utilize our Project Management capabilities we are now looking for a Group Manager to lead our Infrastructure Project Management team.
What challenges do we offer?
In the position you will lead a group of 7 Project Managers within Infrastructure Services. You will be responsible for the PM method development, Project Portfolio governance and Project Office functions for the department Infrastructure Services.
Your job is to lead in a manner that promotes agile working methods, personnel development and ensuring business value from our initiatives, assignments and projects.
You will be a part of the sections management team and in addition take on an advisory role to the departments management team regarding project portfolio issues.
As Manager of Infrastructure Project Management you will:
Develop and lead Infrastructure Services Project Management in terms of portfolio planning, method development, prioritizing capabilities, follow-up on progress and results, risk management, project reviews, etc.
Support, coach and develop our personnel.
Own responsibilities for the group's deliveries, planning and resource balancing
Support the line organization and management teams in decision making, prioritizing and planning of the department project portfolio.
Join the Section Management Team and participate in the development of both section and department.
Secure and plan for resources in terms of project managers
Have responsibility of group financial budget and follow-up.
What profile do we believe you have?
For you to be successful in this role we believe that:
You are an experienced manager with proven leadership
You have a deep understanding of Project Portfolio Management and agile working methods.
You have experience of leading a mature team within a large organization
You are a skilled communicator who can communicate both IT and Project topics to business and management as well as with technical staff
You are a strong team builder who develop the Project management team and integrate IT security in daily business operations
You are fluent in English. Additional languages such as Swedish or German is a strong plus.
The role is located at the Scania IT head office in Södertälje and reports to Senior Manager Infrastructure Services.
