About the Role
Do you have experience in leading people and developing teams within an R&D driven organization? Or do you have experience from leading projects of various size, being well familiar with the development process within Volvo Group and hold solid project management skills? We are looking for a result-oriented group manager to manage a team of project managers and the control of the department portfolio budget and workload balance. You and your team will ensure well managed project deliveries, with good order of financials and manning, in close cooperation with all other managers in the department. As a group manager, you will be responsible for effectively organizing the team and coaching them through inspiring and engaging leadership. In close collaboration with peers in and outside your organization, you will effectively drive changes, working methods and people management through developed strategies and action plans. Requirements:
M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics engineering, Mechanical engineering
At least 10 years of experience in automotive product development
Solid experience in project management, project planning and cost management
Experience from working with agile development principles
Experience in leading people and developing teams
Experience in heavy-duty truck applications and vehicle integration
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Meritorious if you are a certified project manager, PMP
