What will you do?
As Group Head of Business Control you have the overall responsibility to support Stena Line Group with commercial business controlling and project management/coordination capabilities. As the line manager of the Group Business Controller team you are responsible for, and operationally involved in, analysing and working together with all major business areas of Stena Line.
The day to day tasks for the Group Business Controller team consist of analysis of our financial position, based on actual performance, plans and forecasts, investments, divestments and early warnings to preparing board meetings, corporate rating, support and manage corporate development projects. The voice of the Group Business Controller team aims to be based on data and to be independent and unbiased.
This role will also have a special focus on Freight, which means support the Group Freight with commercial business controlling and project management/coordination capability with the aim of supporting the future growth and result improvement of the Freight business within Stena Line.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Business controlling
o Business follow-up (financial, volume, trends etc.)
o Budget, Forecast and LTP process planning
o Business Plan coordination
• Improvements in financial and business transparency
• Project Management
o Group projects
o Various
• General support and analyses
• Presentations
Who are you?

With your solid experience and competence in the area, we believe you can help and drive our business forward.
The must-haves:
• Bachelor degree within Logistics, Economics or equivalent
• 5-10 years work experience from similar position including commercial customer contact
• Relevant experience from Ferry, Logistics or road transport
• Genuine interest in the Freight, Transport and Logistics industry
• Understanding of the commercial triggers
• Comfortable with numbers & project management with an understanding what drives results
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
