The overall responsibility for the Global Service Desk Communication Specialist is to develop and coordinate global and local communication activities related to the Service Desk and to make sure that it corresponds with the intended audience.

We are now looking for a Global service desk communication specialist to help us work in an efficient and effective way, and reduce time to competence.

Would you like to play a key role in helping your colleagues adopt innovative and better ways of working? Your day-to-day work will mainly consist of collecting, creating and transmitting information and instructions relevant for the user community and the different stakeholders of the Service Desk. This information could be about changes in the IT environment, planned maintenance, incident handling, projects and more. Your responsibilities include also the review of any communication provided, making sure it is aligned and compliant with existing policies and rules.

We are looking for someone that first is a great communicator, but also has a good understanding of our IT environment and how IT can best support our people and our company. You will work closely with the IT Service Desk and with our partner (TCS) and you will be supported by different functions in the IT Services organization, making sure that any information and communication submitted is accurate, relevant and clearly understandable for the audience.

You will proactively interact with users and other stakeholders to better understand their perception about the service, their challenges and their concerns, bringing this information back into the process and team for further development, improvement and remediation.

The responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate local and global communication activities related to the IT Service Desk.

• Promote and participate in the further development of the Service Desk platform, including areas such as process, user tool, portal, self-service, channels and more.

• Request and maintain articles for Knowledge Management used within Service Desk.

• Ensure that communication from Service Desk is aligned and compliant with our policies and rules.

Knowledge:

• You must be fluent in English, both in written and spoken. Ability to speak and write in other languages is a plus.

• You have an excellent ability to communicate, both verbally and in written, be able to transform sometimes complex IT related matters into the most understandable format for different stakeholders.

• Good understanding of IT in general, with special focus on how IT can best support our users and our company.
