hela Sverige Till PolyPeptide i Malmö söker vi en Global inköpare. Detta är ett konsultuppdrag som beräknas pågå under ett år via Wise Professionals. Uppdraget är på heltid med start omgående och placering för uppdraget är i PolyPeptides lokaler i Limhamn. The position
We are now for the sake of Polypeptide searching for a Global Purchaser whose main task is to manage the Polypeptide Laboratories (PLL) Group purchasing activities by optimizing them in terms of price, quality, delivery terms and business continuity. As a Global Purchaser you will be involved in the purchase process in the areas of starting materials, peptide building blocks and specific reagents and materials for peptide manufacturing. In that respect you will be part of- and in close collaboration with the local purchasing managers of all PLL sites, consisting of Denmark, France, India, Sweden and the USA.
Other main duties in this role will be:
• Work closely with Global Engineering and local end users at sites to identify suppliers and negotiate purchasing.
• Establish guidelines and operating procedures for purchasing processes by including end users (manufacturing, engineering and development), quality assurance, business control, administrative services, project managers and site directors.
• Assist management in negotiating long term and global contracts with suppliers of service acting for PPL at a global level.
• Keeping track of Supplier Contracts and Supplier Confidentiality Agreements at a global level.
• Assist management in negotiations with suppliers in terms of prices and contract terms in close collaborations with internal PPL clients responsible for technical specifications.
• Assist in qualifying suppliers of materials and equipment in terms of quality of service.
• Suggesting and leading new initiatives to improve the purchasing performance of PPL.
• Follow-up on KPI's for important suppliers.
• Gather supplier and market information and report findings.
As a Global Purchaser your focus will be how to manage the purchase processes rather than what, in respect of quality assurance and cost benefits. You will continuously report your activities to Global Technical Operations Director. As part of the regular supplier contact 25 % of the position will consist of travelling.
The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you are a senior purchasing professional with at least 5 years of experience of a strategic position in purchasing processes. You have a bachelor's degree (ideally in purchasing) or equivalent, and have demonstrated experience in assisting in supplier negotiations on a global level. Former experience of working in any of the pharma-, medical device- or medical technologist industries is meriting, but there is no need for any detailed knowledge of the chemical processes. You have fluent proficiencies in both English and Swedish, written and orally.
To succeed and to thrive in this position it is important that you have the ability to collaborate with many different contact surfaces. As a person you are therefore business oriented, have a strong ability to build relations, good communications skills and a strong sense- and understanding of different cultures in order to negotiate the best possible agreements.
