hela Sverige At the Production Technology Round Tools Supply, within Sandvik Coromant, we're responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for new technologies and product allocations. In Production Technology we're now expanding our area of responsibility to include and leverage our Digital Transformation opportunities, and this role secures the global implementation of our new tools and techniques. This includes overseeing program management, developing technology readiness, industrialization, driving productivity and spreading best practices between them. We're now looking for a Global Project Manager for Digital Methods and Systems to join us on this journey and play an important role in our development.
The location for this position is preferable Sandviken, and global travel is a natural part of the role. You report to the Director of Production Technology, Round Tools Production.

Your mission
As a Global Project Manager your focus is on the digital arena and your aim is to ensure continuous improvement of Round Tools Coromant Supply, and of our production sites in cooperation within the different divisions throughout SMS. You contribute to make this happen by leading and driving Round Tools' global projects and initiatives, ensuring efficient collaborations, carrying out best practices and implementing new ways of working. By evaluating alternatives from a business, cost and service perspective, you propose and carry out needs and decisions regarding investments. Along with this, you also have an operational responsibility for the execution of our company's strategy; ensuring alignment between the different development plans and our long-term strategy, providing support in the continuous development of the operations. As a member of the steering groups in your areas, you act as Round Tools Production's ambassador, and you also support in various "ad hoc" activities, studies and initiatives.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a university degree within engineering, technology, logistics or economics, and at least six years of experience in driving projects in a global business environment - preferably supply chain projects in the manufacturing industry. You have a general business understanding and experience from change and stakeholder management, and a business background from management positions within supply chain or engineering. You have solid computer skills, especially Office 365, and it's a plus if you have a project management certification. Knowledge in Design Automation and IT related production tools is seen advantageous. As we operate on the global stage, your English skills must be excellent, verbally and in writing.
