This position is based within Thermo Fisher Scientific's ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which has its HQ in Uppsala, Sweden and develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,600 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in-vitro allergy diagnostics and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics. You will be joining IDD's Global Marketing, Allergy Lifecycle team of 7 people and report into our Lifecycle Director, Allergy.
THE ROLE is focused on developing, delivering, and following up customer-centric campaigns and collateral for various target groups in the Allergy diagnostics value chain.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Stay up-to-date with the scientific and clinical advancements in allergy and asthma diagnostics, required to develop effective marketing strategies
• Define the marketing strategy and tactical plans that will drive growth for the target customer group and product offering in scope
• Develop value propositions and competitive positioning for product offerings in scope and translate these into appropriate marketing assets and collateral
• Develop promotional or educational campaigns/events/collateral, including concept development, positioning, messaging, and identifying clinical and scientific proofs
• Collaborate with digital- and CRM-team to execute campaigns using appropriate channels
• Collaborate with Product managers and launch teams to lead the development of launch collateral
• Identify and manage external vendors e.g. marketing- and digital agencies to deliver marketing programs on time and on budget
• Take the lead on cross-functional collaboration between global and regional marketing teams to develop and deploy campaigns
To be successful in this role a Bachelor's degree in a Bioscience or Medicine related subject is the minimum requirement and you will ideally have experience in the fields of immunology, clinical research or in-vitro diagnostics related to asthma and allergy conditions. You must be able to speak and write English fluently.
Experience and education in marketing, communications, or sales will be highly valued.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working independently, takes initiative, is a strong communicator and can drive performance.
Thermo Fisher Scientific is an international, matrix organisation so you should be comfortable working cross-functionally, managing a wide range of priorities and working in an ever-changing environment. This position requires international travel of up to 25%.
