The main activities of Expancel are concentrated at Stockvik, about 400 km north of Stockholm, Sweden. Here you find the headquarters, and the departments of R&D, production, marketing and technical business development.
To cover the markets in North and South America in an efficient way Expancel has established subsidiary companies in US and China. We have sales offices in Germany,Italy, Poland, Benelux, Russia, China and Brazil. A network of agents and distributors is also established which enables Expancel to cover the demand for microspheres wherever it exists.
99% of the production is exported and the main applications are in printing inks, civil explosives and polymer- and paint industries.
Responsibilities
As member of Expancel Marketing & Sales Management Team and as manager of Market Communication Department you are responsible to propose, plan and organize marketing activities to support the sales organization globally in order to meet Expancels sales target and to realize the business strategy. Focus areas: Brand awareness/Branding, Global market communication, Sales and marketing support. Main tasks for this role are:
• Propose and create SP material, like Bulletins, brochures, Customer Newsletters and layouts
• Responsibility for our webpage
• Main contact with external partners, agencies, printing companies
• Prioritize and plan/organize the department activities according to market needs when it comes to exhibitions and other sales promotion
• Member of Product Portfolio group
• Key contact within Expancel for company branding guidelines
You report directly to the Global Marketing and Sales manager and are responsible for 2 employees reporting directly.
Job requirement/Candidate Profile
• Education, Skills, Attitude, Experience etc
• Master's Degree or equivalent in communication/marketing/information with 5-10 years experience from such role
• Experience from B2B branding/marketing in an international enviroment
• Strategic marketing insight
• Ability to lead, engage and coach others
• Skilled at organizing, prioritizing workflow and coordinating the work of others
• Collaborative cross-functional team player
• Dare to change
• Ability to create good networks
• Project leadership skills
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong communication skills across global business.

• Good computer knowledge
