Within Product Creation at Volvo Cars we create safe, sustainable and personal products that enable freedom to move in a changing society.
To secure the entire process from ideas to a product ready to produce, the following functions work together collaboratively as integral parts of our Product Creation organization: Research & Development, Digital, Strategy & Business Ownership and Design.

As Global PX Partner for Design you will enable and drive key transformational initiatives together with the Design leadership team, while fostering cross functional collaboration within the whole Product Creation organization (which Design is a part of).

You and your skills
The stakeholder landscape you will need to manage is quite diverse and geographically spread (mainly Sweden, China and US) - so we're looking for someone who enjoys such diverse environments. Your most prominent collaboration points will be the overall PX community, various business organizations and our colleagues from the unions. We also see:

* Recognized as trusted advisor with high integrity and interpersonal savvy.
* You are an excellent collaborator and relationship builder across functions and boundaries.
* You are a brave leader in order to challenge the status quo (both in PX leadership teams and your client group)
* Passionate about making a true difference while challenging yourself and others.
* You are a courageous change maker, confronting yourself and surroundings with new input and perspectives from in- and outside the company.
* Ideally, you have several years of leadership experience.
* University degree within HR or other equivalent area with relevant work experience "on the line".
* Proven ability to work in complex and global environments, as well as to think strategically and conduct the execution tactically.
* You are an analytical thinker, who enjoys making the best sense of the available data while you're open to learning new tools and you know how to visualize your key findings for your colleagues and client groups.

As a person, you have a curios mind set and you are open to new solutions and ideas. You're keeping a holistic view and you enjoy building relationships across the entire organization. Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently in a structured way and set right priorities.
It is important that you can plan with a flexible approach and have a strong interest in working with people and organizational development. Of course, you are a true team player, who contributes and communicates with passion and energy.
