Head of Occupational Health & Safety

This position leads the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) function within Ericsson. This includes providing comprehensive Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) support for the Regions, Business Units, Customer Groups and Group Functions, coordinates responsibilities to meet business needs and ensure compliance with Group Occupational Health & Strategy policies, directives and requirements. This includes improvement and integration of Health & Safety subject content into related business processes and driving programs and execution across Ericsson, as well as the ongoing development of any needed policies, directives, obkectives and KPI's to effectively run and evaluate the program. This position will guide and support the leadership of various units in defining their strategy, targets, program and project development and execution in this area. The position requires an inspired individual with strong program management skills who can integrate OHS considerations in business processes and offerings and support effective internal and external communications.

Job Description :

• Lead a Global Team of OHS regional managers and experts
• Develop an OHS global strategy, supporting targets and programs which are aligned to global OHS framework and the Sustainability and CR strategy regulations
• Manage OHS reporting and incident management
• Run relevant internal boards such as Incident Management Review Board
• Apply and facilitate execution of OHS policies and directives
• Ensure that OHS regional management is aligned with Global Instructions and guidelines
• Interact with customers and provide OHS-reports as required by customers and provide answers and expertise to secure proper external communication on related areas
• Provide all relevant results and information for OHS objectives and targets
• Ensure an annual Risk Assessment is carried out on a global level and report the result to GF

Qualifications :

• Min 10 years demonstrated work experience in the Health and Safety area. NEBOSH, similar certification, degree or experience is required
• Solid experience of program management and international/experience
• Demonstrated cross functional and cross cultural leadership and proven ability to effectively lead teams. Ability to drive change and strong leadership qualities in general
• Strong planning, process and organizational skills and knowledge of Ericsson ways of working
• Outgoing, proactive attitude with strong social and networking skills and experience - from internal as well as externak stakeholder perspectives
• Strong communication and public speaking skills, including excellent written and spoken English
