All about the role:
The Global Food Preparation Category Director - Digital and Ovens will lead the strategic direction and consumer experience roadmap for Cavity Cooking Categories across BAs, driving growth and profitability. This role demands a highly analytical and results-oriented individual with deep expertise in category management, consumer insights, and market trends. Together with TDS, Design and R&D, you will also lead DX innovation development and execution for Food Preparation, with a particular focus on cavity cooking. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, technological expertise, and strategic vision to drive innovation and enhance the overall consumer experience.
What you'll do:
Drive business development of cavity cooking categories across Bas:
Define and drive implementation of global generation plans of cavity cooking across BAs, ensuring alignment with business areas (BAs) and cross-functional teams to meet profitability targets.

Drive innovation, modularity, and digital experience plans within the categories by engaging and guiding the work of regional innovation triangles, along with product marketing, design and R&D

Consumer Experience Focus: In collaboration with responsible functions, define and articulate learning plans for in-depth customer journeys knowledge to identify pain points, opportunities, and moments of engagement.

Oversee business opportunity assessments, platform development, and CAPEX allocation, driving high-performance innovation pipelines and steering NPI project committees.

Own the priority setting for GenPlan implementation, including CAPEX planning, in close collaboration with Product Portfolio team

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and prioritize product features, aligned with the PL strategy

Collaborate with BA Category to incorporate market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape into Generation Plan

Monitor category performance metrics, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Own the definition of architecture, platform and module roadmaps for the category of responsibility
Lead DX innovation development and execution for Food Preparation:
Drive & lead execution of the DX Innovation Triangle, driving future experiences and use case implementations based on consumer insights and innovation swim lanes.

Collaborate with business areas (BAs) to ensure commercial viability, resource optimization, and local implementation of innovation initiatives.

Deliver meaningful digital experience user stories and develop Food Preparation's connected strategy

Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in category management, product management, or a related role.

Demonstrated influencing skills with the ability to unify and align diverse inputs, demonstrating the maturity and seniority necessary to engage with senior leadership and provide strategic direction. Prior experience in Business Areas (BA) and local category management is highly preferred.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies, with strong commercial background.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Exceptional cross-collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be based at Electrolux office in Stockholm, Sweden. Other locations in Europe can be considered.
