Global Business Development Manager-Key Accounts and Cost Per Meter Contracts.

Job description/Mission:
The Global Business Development Manager will support the Customer Centers (CC) and the Global Strategic Customer (GSC) team to drive and develop the Rock Drilling Tools (RDT) business growth and profitability for key account customers and Cost Per Meter (CPM) contracts.

The Global Business Development Manager will report to the Vice President Marketing, RDT Division.

Main responsibilities are:

- Act as the single contact point for the GSC team and CC to support all related RDT activities coming from global customers.
- Lead and coordinate together with all RDT departments to have the right pricing model for RDT to the global customers.
- To provide high standards of marketing material, information and support with the mission to increase the RDT market share on global customers.
- Take the lead along with the market support team to find good solutions for Global Ex Works pricing requests coming from these customers.
- Actively support Customer Centers to implement Global agreements signed with these customers.
- Map the total potential based on the fleet management of the global customers.
- Define and implement market strategies that are relevant for the different global customers with the target to maximize our customer share.
- Monitor the local activities aligned with the strategy and follow up of the market share, customer share and financial index development reported for all global customers.
- Monitor the financial KPI and develop our market penetration of CPM contracts.
- Together with Product management, actively drive new product introduction plans towards the global customers.

Experience requirements:

- Experience in key account management.
- Experience in handling CPM contracts.
- Experience in RDT processes and products is a plus.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience within Atlas Copco or the mining industry.
- Customer center experience is expected.
- Solid experience in sales and marketing would be a strong asset.
- Experience in developing presentation and marketing materials.

Knowledge/Educational requirements:

- An engineering degree is desired but other degrees or work experience will be considered, if applicable.
- Previous sales and marketing experience, specifically from customer centers, will be considered strongly.
- Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are expected.
- Financial reporting knowledge is expected.

Personality requirements:

- Team player with strong oral and written communication skills, able to support the efforts of the entire department.
- Excellent customer focus and analytic skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness and ability to travel is required.
- Must enjoy working in an international, multicultural environment.

Position will ideally be located in Fagersta but we will consider other locations, depending upon where and if applicable to our business opportunities.
