Managing this business unit will provide you with many opportunities and interesting challenges on both a local and global level. One of them will be to grow the orders and ensure that the competitive level remains high. As part of this, a new product assortment will be launched, with further focus on cost efficiency and customized solutions, a sour drive for future development never ceases. This managerial role will provide you the overall responsibility for all full-scale operative functions where you will be in charge of both local and global strategies and our business development. You will also be responsible for profit and loss development. You will also be responsible for profit and loss implementing budgets and targets. Another crucial task will be to observe relevant markets based on analyses and evaluations of market potentials. As Local Product Group Manager you will also be involved in marketing and sales as well as in the global allocation of sales channels, suppliers and manufacturing. As a representative for HV Breakers you will be a member of the Power Grid High Voltage Products HBU Northern Europe management team as well as being a part of the Global Product Group breakers & Models management team. You will be able to have a strong influence on the global future development and performance. All in all, this unique opening will provide you with countless opportunities.
You preferably hold a Master's degree in Engineering combined with commercial competence, which you have supplemented with experience of production, operations and marketing & sales. Familiarity with ABB's global group is an advantage. You also need strong communication skills and proficiency in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike. Previous positions have made you an experienced leader who brings enthusiasm and energy to the business and foster a culture of teamwork. Strong business acumen and a results-oriented personality are other crucial qualities of yours. Moreover, you are responsive and good at networking as well as comfortable with making crucial decisions.
You will be part of High Voltage Breakers, a local business unit within the Power Grid division in Sweden based in Ludvika. We have the worldwide ABB responsibility for design, production and sales of high voltage breakers for power systems within both AC and DC. The Business is a true global business with customers all around the world. The high voltage breaker is an essential part in a reliable and energy efficient power system. More than 95 percent of the production is exported.
