hela Sverige ReGarden is aiming to hire around 35 persons for the season 2017 distributed as follows: Upplands Väsby 25, Huddinge 5 and Gothenburg 5. We are looking for people with an interest in working and learning and an ability to work independently. We provide in-house training as well as send new staff on external courses depending on the individual needs and previous knowledge.
Job purpose
To deliver recurring gardening services to contract clients to the satisfaction of customers at a profit.
Job description
As a contract gardener you provide recurring gardening services to a limited set of customers. You are responsible for maintaining and developing your customers gardens during the season and adapting the delivery according to the customers' needs and preferences. You will be delivering services such as lawn mowing, hedge trimming, tree pruning and weeding but will also be improving and developing the garden by planting in flower beds and fertilizing etc.
The work is independent, you will work alone most of the time and communicate with your customers and the office as needed. Apart from technical skills in gardening and use of machines and tools, the work requires a customer service orientation, good communication skills and an ability to set priorities and to plan one's activities to maintain high standards of productivity.
Requirements
• Driving licence B-level.
• Physically fit
• Ability to work on heights. We work on levels up to 2 meters and sometimes higher.
• A willingness to learn
Meriting
• Education or experience in gardening
• Experience or training in tree trimming / pruning of fruit trees
• Chainsaw license A or AB
Training
We provide in-house training as well as send new staff on external courses depending on the individual needs and previous knowledge. As an example, all mission gardeners need chain saw license level A and we will provide this training. On average we provide 1 week of training for all staff before the start of the season with follow-up training days during the course of the year. The training cover topics such as hedge trimming, tree pruning, garden work etc.
Other
We provide working clothes and necessary personal protective equipment.
