The section Propulsive Vehicle Control works close to the end costumer and is responsible for development of control algorithms and calibration of the in-house developed software "Propulsive Vehicle Control" (PVC). The PVC system controls the engine, transmission and hybrid system regarding propulsive attributes and is allocated in Engine Control Module (ECM) and Transmission Control Module (TCM).
The section also includes the attribute center Performance & Drivability as well as Calibration Leaders for Engine- and Propulsive controls. We are responsible for development of control algorithms, calibration, verification of shift schedules and shift quality for automatic transmissions.
As a Function Developer - Ratio Management you will be a part of the team which is responsible for our in-house software development. We also and support ongoing and future projects with functionality for shift schedules (automatic transmissions), meeting all requirements. You will obtain technical specifications, optimum balance between Drivability-, Performance-, NVH-, Emission- and Fuel consumption attributes for our customers and achieve high SW development quality. Engine torque management, Calibration- and Concept leaders within the section are examples of weekly interfaces, where good communication and co-operation is important.
Main responsibilities
• Deliver SW updates, validate on function and system level according to project and implementation plans. Keep function description documents up-to-date. Educate concerned engineers.
• Deliver calibration for first project introduction of a new function
• Contribute to continuously improvements within the responsibility area, such as work processes, methods, tools, strategies and requirements
• Supporting role in the system team and for calibration teams
Required qualifications
• B.Sc in engineering, MSc is meritorious
• Experience from software or function development
• Experience from Targetlink, Simulink, Matlab or equal
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Driver license B
• Experience from powertrain development is meritorious
• Skills in mathematics is meritorious

• Structured and good ability to plan daily and future work effective
• Analytical Mind-set and a way of working to make things happen
• Good team-player with social- and communication skills
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere
