hela Sverige Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Fullstack Developer to the Media Asset Management SVT. Here you will work fullstack and together with the team set the architecture and technology choices for the new Media Asset Management platform.
To make a long story short
SVT is the national provider of public service within televisions with the aim of creating content that engages, maintains and enriches the public. By acting independently and with strong integrity in relation to economic, political or similar power spheres in society, and get a solid range of programs for everyone in Sweden. With great emphasis on working with confidence and transparency, public service holds a breadth with many different types of content. From Bolibompa for the smallest to cultural experiences from all of Sweden's scenes, Melodifestivalen and sports broadcast that make the whole of Sweden keep its breath. Today, it is estimated that 9 out of 10 Swedes each week use SVT, where more and more people use digital services such as SVT Play or the mobile app, which entails an increased need for infrastructure and data management.
The missing piece of the puzzle
Here you will be a part of the IT organizations at SVT and work on building SVT's new Media management platform. The Media Asset Platform is a critical system where you will work on building microservices for online and broadcast functions.
Along with your team currently consisting of senior developers, the focus is on building a scalable and maintainable platform which has great impact on many entities within SVT. You will here work with fullstack development and help setting agile working methods and processes for the team. The tech stack used is Java with Typescript using microservices hosted in AWS. If you are interested in the architectural aspect of DevOps you will here have the chance to excel within these areas as well.
In order to thrive in this position you have several years of professional experience working in agile environment with Jave. Preferably you have experience from architectural work along with an interest for Dev-ops. As a person you are passionate, curious and eager to learn and find innovative solutions. Except this we hope to see that you are communicative and a good team player in order to make a good fit in the SVT team.
