Whtson is a unique application platform designed for rapid development, distribution and configuration of B2B digitalisation applications. The platform runs as a "virtual" OS on top of most platforms and devices allowing the user and developer a truly device independent environment. The main difference when developing and using applications in Whtson is that it is built entirely with business applications in mind. This mindset runs all the way from the developer tools to the end customer invoicing.
You will be working in a tight team developing the next generation of the Whtson application platform as well as customer applications running on the platform. The work requires that you are comfortable working both in teams and independently. You are often required to take your own responsibility for tasks and solve them. As we are a small organization you will be involved in the entire process from design, implementation, maintenance and deployment of the applications in the cloud based environment.
The language you need to master is Javascript but you are also skilled in PHP and MySQL. It 's a bonus if you have worked with Apace servers, bu no demand. Other neat stuff that should sound pretty familiar (at least some of them) are: Linux, devops, cloud computing, database design, NoSQL, Cordova, WebSockets, internet security, CSS, Redis, 0MQ, REST, API design, interaction design, realtime data streams. We prefer if you have some work experience or a completed M.Sc. or B.Sc. in software engineering or equivalent. Fluency in English is required as all communication and documentation is done in English. What you lack in experience you may make up with high ambition and energy!
