In this role, you will design and implement end-to-end features - from crafting intuitive, high-performance web interfaces to building and optimizing backend services that power them. You'll work closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to transform complex data and workflows into seamless user experiences.

Your Responsibilities
Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React and Next.js, while also contributing to backend logic and APIs.
Implement backend services and integrations, leveraging Node.js (or similar) to support frontend features and data flows.
Translate product and user requirements into functional, scalable features that deliver great user experiences.
Collaborate with designers to refine UI/UX based on feedback and usability testing.
Integrate with and extend RESTful or GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable data handling.
Ensure both frontend and backend code is modular, testable, performant, and maintainable.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-device performance.
Contribute to shared component libraries, design systems, and backend utilities.
Debug, test, and proactively improve application reliability, from UI to database interactions.
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your Skills
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with strong focus on frontend and exposure to backend development.
Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, including frameworks like React and Next.js.
Experience with Node.js (or similar) for backend development.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend build tools.
Experience integrating and building RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
Strong UX mindset and attention to design detail.
Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Testing Library, Mocha).
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to work independently and in an agile team environment.
Good communication skills across functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns.
Familiarity with design systems such as Storybook or Material UI.
Exposure to cloud environments (GCP, AWS) and serverless architectures.
Interest or background in video, media, or streaming technology.
Understanding of CI/CD workflows for both frontend and backend applications.
Database experience (SQL or NoSQL).
