15,000 merchant and web stores uses Klarna?s products today. That means that we need to provide the best possible method for our merchants to integrate with our business systems. We need to always deliver products and services with high performance and quality that covers a wide range of web technologies. Our development team Merchant Integration (MINT) is a well glued team where we value open source, testing and small fast moving teams. Our code is business critical for both Klarna and the merchant, MINT is in the midst of everything.

Your main mission as a Frontend developer in MINT is to be a leading force within usability and frontend development. The main scope of this position will be to build the best integration experience possible for our merchants using the latest technologies and tools. You will need to focus and be able to adapt different solutions depending on how the different products and services work and perform. As Klarna grows, all our services and products need to be scaled out in the cloud to continue providing the best experience for our customers all around the world. Your skills and experience will be a part to build the next generation of products and services.

As a Frontend developer, you will take part in the entire development process, from gathering/providing ideas and requirements to building prototypes and the final product with high quality. Together with your teammates you take on challenges in all areas of development.
You will always try to find new innovative ways to help our customers (internal and external), decrease integration time and increase conversion rates for our merchants.

Required Qualifications
• At least 3 years experience as a Front-End developer.
• Knowledge in CSS, HTML, Javascript, PHP, Node.js and/or other programming languages.
• You have worked with several different browsers and frameworks, e.g. Less, SCSS, Zend, Yii ors similar.
• You are familiar with responsive design development.

You have....
• previously worked with web development, perhaps in a marketing company, doing web work for e-commerce companies or websites.
• a sense of what works in terms of design and usability.
• a passion for front-end programming and a strong will to develop your skills.
• acquired skills in both frontend and backend developing.
• a deep wish to work in a fun and well glued team.
