hela Sverige At Tre we believe that life will be more fun if you experience it with others. Therefore, we work every day to make it easier for our 2 million customers to share their experiences, opinions and feelings with others. At Tre, we set people free. We are convinced that it is the culture of Tre that is the main ingredient of our success. Due to this we have been appointed one of Sweden's best workplaces. In 2018, we moved our business to a completely new house next to Globen in the south of Stockholm, where all of us at Tre will be given better opportunities to meet and interact. Welcome to Tre.
It's tricky to describe Tre's culture for someone who hasn't experienced it yet. It's fast, messy, beautiful, fun and passionate. We're a company with just over 1,600 employees who all have the same common goal - together we are here to challenge the telecom industry.
We want to hire a Frontend Architect to the department of IT Development and our Architecture team.
Our IT organization consists of approx. 250 people and we are on a journey of drastically changing and improving the way we build frontend applications as well as the supporting backend logic and API:s. We are now looking for a Frontend Architect who is passionate about making a best in class experience for our customers and who would like to take part of this transition. We embrace agile development and continuously strive to improve ourselves. Our IT organization supports our business in both Sweden and Denmark.
As part of our Architecture team you will have a key role in building our commerce and service platforms using the best possible architecture, ensuring an excellent online experience for our customers and internal users. You will work in close collaboration with our Online and Customer Experience teams in the business as well as our development teams, but also with our web agencies and external partners.
Your work will involve the main responsibility of our frontend architecture and of course also evaluating different frameworks, way of working and tools. We expect you to create road maps to transform legacy frontend applications and we also expect you to support the teams in setting the development strategy, principles, ways of working, and code guidelines.
Furthermore, you will also:
• Work closely with frontend developers as well as backend developers to ensure we build according to our principles and guidelines.
• Getting your hands dirty to keep up the development skills, coaching developers and pushing the boundaries of what we can deliver.
• Continue to evolve the cloud strategy for frontend.
Who you are
To be successful in the position, you have a passion for frontend development and architecture with an academic degree and at least five years of relevant experience. You take an interest in the whole technology stack, how the frontend fits into the bigger picture. You have a solid developer background with strong knowledge of surrounding technologies. It is important for us that you are open minded, dedicated and flexible. You are a fast learner who enjoys working in a rapidly changing environment. Furthermore, you are an innovative person who find great value in teamwork and always keep the customer in mind.
We build frontends for many different areas, the most important are for e-commerce and service with an omni-channel focus. Our frontends are thin and built using React and Node.js, business logic is called though GraphQL and REST API:s towards our backend systems. We use a headless content management system and build our frontends for continuous delivery in the cloud on docker containers using Kubernetes.
The position requires that you are fluent in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage but not critical for this role. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Stockholm.
We offer you a company that's passionate and value driven. We work in an open and transparent working environment with a way of working where development, involvement and engagement are core pillars. Over the last five years we have been placed as a top 10 employer by Great Place To Work and we look forward to taking our environment and work place to the next level in our office next to Globen.
We will kick things off and interview continuously even before the application end date on the 23rd of Febuary so please make sure to send in your application as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact hiring manager Johan Hjort at
johan.hjort@tre.se.
