Unilever Nordic Head Office in Stockholm is looking to strengthen the Research & Development team as of March 1st 2015 until 31st of October 2015.
Role summary
As a Food Specialist you are part of the Unilever Europe Research & Development organization, involved in the last and very critical phase of product development: implementation of innovations in the market. You will be expected to work in cross functional teams that bring new products to the market. We expect you to become the holder of technical expertise within one of our food categories when it comes to raw materials, recipes, food legislation, product safety and product quality.
Our products are supplied from different factories in Europe and you will be responsible to issue local information and specifications according to Nordic food legislation and for the approval of the artwork. The Food specialist also gives technical support, and monitors the competitors on the market.
Criteria
You have an Academic degree in Food Science or you are a Food Engineer with equivalent working experience in the Food Industry or in Research & Development. You are also fluent in Swedish and English. The main language used in specifications and reports is English but as we are a pan-Nordic organization it is a merit if you also speak Norwegian, Danish or Finnish.
The right candidate needs to be proactive, have the ability to build relationships and think and act cross functions and processes. We want you to be structured and meticulous, have good communication and presentation skills, in addition to a good team spirit.
