The year was 2005 and e-commerce had long been precarious. With an idea to offer secure and simple payment solutions, Klarna was founded that same year. Six years have passed and we have grown to an ambitious and creative company of 500 employees. We have been awarded Company of the Year in -07 (bragging), increased our turnover by 13 570 % (statistics) and managed to become the Nordic market leader (facts). Klarna is partly owned by Investment AB Öresund and Sequoia Capital - a company that saw the same potential in Google, YouTube and Apple Computer, as they do in us. We think that is a good start.
Klarna registers more than 30 000 purchases each day made by consumers through an online store on any of our six markets. Klarna Service Center is responsible for all daily contact and service to these consumers and there are demands for both a very high level of service and highly motivated employees. The Finnish team is about 12 people, all working to provide our Finnish consumers with the best possible service. We are now looking for a Country Manager to our Klarna Service Center Finland, who can bring the department to even greater heights.
You will be over all responsible for Klarna?s Finnish Customer Services. You will make sure that quality and productivity always are of the highest standards and that procedures and processes are done according to "best practice". You will also make sure that the department's SLA levels and Customer Satisfaction results meet the Management?s expectations.
Your tasks also include scheduling and recruiting. You are part of the management team of Klarna Service Center and have regular meetings with other Country Managers, exchanging ideas and working together to find improvements. You are also responsible for spreading information within your team.
We are looking for someone with 2-3 years work experience from customer service or call center. You have experience of managing others and if you have any leadership training it will be a strong merit. You have a completed secondary education (Swedish gymnasium).
You speak and write English and Finnish fluently. Good knowledge in Swedish is preferred.
You have a genuine interest in people and you like making new contacts within the organization. Through creativity and ability to think outside the box you will find new solutions to old problems. You express yourself clearly and pedagogically and have no trouble getting the group on board with new ideas. You always deliver good results on time and are not afraid to pitch in where needed.
