Our mission
Diet Doctor was founded by Andreas Eenfeldt (M.D.) with the long-term goal of empowering people everywhere to dramatically improve their health. More than one billion people suffer from health issues related to type 2 diabetes and obesity, for which they're often personally blamed and rarely given the support they deserve. We aim to change that.
We're fully funded by our members, so we don't need to show any ads, sell any products, or take any industry money. This also means that we have zero external investors, and are instead owned by the 40+ people who work here - and we offer all employees the possibility to buy a stake in the company regularly.
What you'll do
Lead and run corporate services (accounting, tax, audit, legal)
• Work closely with external accountants to oversee their mandate, and ensure it's well managed, ensuring revenue and cost figures are properly categorized (solid policies, slick processes, fast turn around, fit for purpose setup, etc.).
• Auditing: Ensure the integrity of our accounts and that all key processes are well designed. Keep monthly financial statements updated and improve forecasting capabilities of P&L for the leadership team.
• Vendor management: work with other teams, and assist in the procurement processes including the negotiation of commercial terms and the ongoing management of those partners.
• Ensure in time submission and review of expense reports of DD employees, as well as executing swift settlement of invoices to external contractors and suppliers.
• Facilitate the design, drive the implementation, and ensure the proper maintenance of any system related to your area.
Lead and run strategic financial management
• Build out and own our financial-management capabilities including data availability, ad-hoc analysis, and regular reporting.
• Work closely with product team and COO to ensure financial aspects and reporting are taken into consideration when launching new products/revenue streams.
• Be the financial conscience and educate the wider team on a broad set of financial and commercial topics to enable smarter commercial decision-making on an ongoing basis.
Lead and run corporate finance
• Introduce and manage solid cash management policies and processes.
• Update valuation model for Diet Doctor.

Who you are
• Minimum 3 years experience (associate level) in an accounting firm or in a finance department of a B2C business or SaaS tech start up.
• BA in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
• CFA would be a plus.
• Belief in the importance of our values: trustworthiness, simplicity, inspiration and goodness.

• Passionate and driven.
• Smart and fast learner who loves to grow.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in Swedish (written and verbal) would be a big bonus.

This is a full-time position, working primarily from our beautiful and airy Swedish HQ here in Stockholm, at Vasagatan 40, just opposite the central station.
