We are now looking for a Financial Controller/Finance Manager to Kungshusen in Mariefred, Strängnäs.
A key member of the Kungshusen finance team.

The Team
The Kungshusen team is entrepreneurial and at an exciting stage of growth, with a deep commitment to providing superior value to its customers. The company has 17 employees, 8 of whom are based at its newly-built, state-of-the-art head office in Mariefred, which is also the location of the warehouse and service workshop. In addition, Kungshusen has four local offices to strengthen its service and support offering.
As a member of the team you will find yourself being "close to the business" at all time. You will be offered to join the sales team in different aspect of the business so that you learn more about what we do and offer to our customers. Decisions are taken at short lead time however most of the contracts are driven through tenders (LOU) resulting in framework agreements.
The Role
A key member of the Kungshusen finance team, the Senior Accountant will report to the CFO.
You will be responsible for the transactional processes of the finance function, and the preparation of balance sheets, cashflow, financial statements as well as reporting requirements, giving the leadership team and Group comfort in the numbers and highlighting any key issues and corrective measures and ensuring compliance with Group financial policies.
You will be a key support for the CFO as you are tasked with the accuracy and authenticity of financial information and reporting, tax and statutory compliance activities. You will also support the CFO and be a key contributor with respects to key financial cycles, including half year, year-end, and budgeting and forecasting exercises.
The role will play an important part in helping to assess the ongoing financial performance of the company and analysing data. This role will require cross-functional teamwork and demonstration of behaviour that aligns with company values.
The ideal candidate should be commercially savvy and possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills and accuracy/attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Lead preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly finance reporting packages.
Key role in the preparation and review of budget and reforecast submissions to ensure accuracy, working in collaboration with the business
Assess and explain key drivers of variances between budget and reforecast to management and Group
Preparation of reporting materials and presentation materials submitted to management and Group
Performance of regular and ad hoc sales and financial analysis to support management in understanding performance and drive decision making
Delivery of month end, half year, and year-end reporting and financial governance requirements
Assess cash flow requirements with management and maintain updated cash flow forecasts.
Reviewing and documenting internal controls, as well as suggesting corrective actions for deficiencies.
Assistance with Internal and External Audit and ad-hoc finance projects, as required.

The Candidate
3+ years of experience in the field of accounting or audit.
University degree, with a qualification in Accounting (or qualification in progress)
Fluent in English & Swedish, both written and spoken
Ability to analyze and present numerical data in tables, spreadsheets, and forms. Strong proficiency in Excel required.
Strong analytical and communication skills - particularly with financial statement and profitability analysis.
Keen attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with people at various levels within the organization.
Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight time frames
Ambition and interest in continuous improvement and new challenges
