We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Financial Controller. Please note that this position can be based in Budaörs, Hungary or in Lund, Sweden
As Financial Controller IFRS16 you will be responsible for the controlling and reporting of operational leases globally in the area of Facilities and Real Estate Management (FREM). You will drive the monthly process of real estate lease reporting and perform changes in a specialized system for new and modified leases. You will also support the FREM organization as a business expert in IFRS16 reporting of company car leases.

Responsibilities:
Process driver of real estate lease reporting according to IFRS16 (International Financial Reporting Standard)
* Drive the monthly reporting process of real estate leases from sourcing data until monthly reporting period is closed in the dedicated system for leases
* Coordinate with the outsourced real estate data management team to secure the accuracy of lease reporting and timely data transfer to the financial system
* Participate in real estate lease governance meetings globally and provide support to the FREM organization and business controllers in IFRS16 reporting matters
Financial control and reporting responsible for real estate
* Perform the monthly activities of sourcing real estate data, identifying adjustments in financial system, while working with stakeholders to resolve issues
* Execute actions in the dedicated financial system according to monthly schedule related to new leases, changes and corrections to all data records globally
* Make necessary adjustments in real estate database and liaise with data management team
Business Expert in IFRS16 lease reporting for company car leases
* Support the car fleet administrators with IFRS16 process and tool related issues, how to execute complex tasks and get more help if necessary
* Onboard new colleagues executing company car lease reporting in the various countries, secure their competence and access to training
* Follow up on reporting process compliance and performance, drive continuous improvements
We believe you have:
• Completed a BSc or Master degree or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferable as a controller who understands the business relevance of financial information
* Good understanding of financial reporting concepts; prior experience with IFRS16 lease reporting is an advantage
* Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
* Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving
* High level of drive, initiative and the ability to organize your work independently
* Ability to execute a monthly process with clear schedule while remaining agile, service minded and sometimes go the extra mile to resolve issues ahead of a critical deadline
* Strong focus on performance and delivery of accurate and timely results
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels within the organization
* Ability to act as a strong team player and effectively cooperate with others located in other geographies
* International experience in global/regional roles
