Microsoft Sweden is a developed market Subsidiary, part of the Western Europe Area and operates as a key enabler of the market IT growth through solid partnership with Governments, Enterprise, small and medium as well as IT partners and consumer partners of the region. Sweden Finance team has the responsibility to partner with sales and marketing teams as well as supporting Microsoft legal entities in Sweden. Microsoft Finance is a truly global finance team and you will be part of the WW community Finance communities to make each other great and build on each other.
The New Business & Customer Success Sr. Finance Manager is the Finance partner to the Enterprise Specialist Sales (STU) and Customer Success Unit Lead (CSU) in Sweden. Providing actionable insights to identify new business opportunities in STU; prioritizing the ones with the highest ROI. The successful candidate also delivers actionable insights to drive post-sales consumption and usage of Microsoft Cloud products in collaboration with the CSU team. The CSU team is growing fast and keeps taking an increasingly important role in the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with the Enterprise Specialist Teams Unit (STU) Lead to drive the commercial growth through product and segment deep analytics & insights with workload lens on the three clouds
• Drive post sales consumption growth through partnering with the Customer Success Unit (CSU) lead, looking at CSA productivity; identifying correlations between consumption trends
• Support directly New Bus/STU Lead by providing actionable insights in customer trends, workloads and productivity to identify new business opportunities.
• Provide data analysis and insights to enable New Business growth especially in Azure, O365 and D365 penetration (partnership with Enterprise and Solution Area Finance)
• Provides end to end ROI clarity on New Business opportunities that are being considered by STU Lead as the most impactful opportunities (partnering with Enterprise Sr. Finance Manager for Digital Winroom Submissions)
• Deliver insights in STU productivity and effectiveness through collaboration with the Western Europe and WW New Business/CSU Finance community
• Business Decision Maker engagement with top customers to accelerate consumption of Microsoft solutions purchased by the customer (analytics tools such as Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, but also showcasing productivity tools such as Office 365 and Teams). Finally take part in Digital transformation in (Microsoft) Finance and Centralized Forecasting/Budgeting initiatives
• Partner with Western Europe Consumer & Devices Finance to ensure relevant insights on Commercial Surface provided to the business
Critical Success Indicators:
• New Business performance YoY and VTB
• STU productivity and ROI
• Consumption & Usage all up metrics
• Business Partner feedback
• Progressing key deals through customer (BDM) engagement or TCO/ROI calculations, supporting key deals with business case support
Preferably 10+ years of experience in Finance, Consulting or Business positions
Experience in subscription business analytics and sales & operations planning & forecasting preferred
Experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles is recommended
Fluent in English
BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics, CPA/CA or other post-graduate education preferred
